Counseling, consultation, speaking, training, licensing, ministry education, and conference participation are not interchangeable. These answers help visitors enter the appropriate doorway while preserving privacy, professional boundaries, and the energy required for excellent work.
01
Choosing the Right Service
Begin by distinguishing clinical care from educational and professional services.
What is the difference between counseling and consultation?+
Counseling is a confidential clinical service for adults physically located in Georgia and begins through a separate counseling process. Personal development consultation focuses on present goals, direction, leadership, transitions, or program development; it is not psychotherapy, diagnosis, or crisis care.
What if I am not sure which service I need?+
Visit the Start Here page for a plain-language guide. For speaking, training, consultation, or licensing, you may also use the Professional Inquiry Form and select “I’m not sure which pathway fits.” Counseling inquiries should use the separate counseling pathway.
Does submitting an inquiry create a professional relationship?+
No. A website inquiry, email, payment, or initial conversation does not by itself establish a counselor-client, consultant-client, or other professional relationship. Any engagement must be appropriately reviewed and confirmed.
02
Individual Counseling
Private-pay clinical care has its own appropriate doorway.
Who may receive counseling from Dr. Snow?+
Dr. Snow provides online individual counseling to adults who are physically located in Georgia at the time of service. His Psychology Today profile provides the most current practice details.
Does Dr. Snow accept insurance?+
No. Dr. Snow’s counseling practice is private-pay and does not process insurance payments. Current fees and accepted payment methods should be reviewed through his verified Psychology Today profile.
Must counseling include Christian faith or spirituality?+
No. Christian counseling, Scripture, prayer, and spiritual reflection are available when a client requests and welcomes them. Faith is not forced, and each person’s beliefs, values, needs, and counseling goals are respected.
Is this website a secure clinical or emergency portal?+
No. Do not send highly sensitive clinical information through a general website form or ordinary email. This website does not provide emergency or crisis services. In an immediate emergency, call 911 or use an appropriate crisis resource.
03
Speaking, Training & Consultation
Clear information helps Dr. Snow recommend the right scope and protect preparation time.
What types of engagements does Dr. Snow offer?+
Engagements may include conference keynotes, interactive workshops, organizational training, faith-community mental-health education, personal development consultation, and licensed educational programs.
Are fees listed publicly?+
Most professional fees are quoted after the audience, desired outcome, format, duration, preparation, travel, materials, and content-use needs are understood. Sharing an approved budget or fee range in the inquiry helps determine fit efficiently.
Does Dr. Snow travel for in-person engagements?+
In-person opportunities may be considered. Include the location, dates, schedule, audience size, accessibility needs, and anticipated travel arrangements in the inquiry so the complete scope can be evaluated.
Can a program be adapted for a secular or professional audience?+
Yes. Dr. Snow’s work may be adapted for professional, organizational, community, or faith-based settings while preserving responsible educational boundaries. State the audience and desired approach in the inquiry.
04
Recording, Materials & Licensing
The teaching may travel farther when permissions are clear from the beginning.
May we record, livestream, or post Dr. Snow’s presentation?+
Not automatically. Photography, audio or video recording, livestreaming, rebroadcasting, and online posting must be discussed and approved in writing before the engagement.
May our organization copy or reuse the handouts?+
Only within the permission expressly provided. Slides, workbooks, participant guides, and other materials may not be copied, altered, resold, posted, or distributed beyond the agreed audience without written permission.
What is a licensed training program?+
A license gives an approved organization permission to use a defined educational program for an agreed audience and period, with specified materials and use rights. Licensing is permission—not ownership—and does not authorize psychotherapy or work beyond a facilitator’s qualifications.
Why choose licensing instead of another live workshop?+
Licensing can extend the learning beyond one presentation, help an organization build shared language, and allow approved materials to continue serving people without requiring another live hour from Dr. Snow.
05
North Star Men’s Conference
The founding gathering is intentionally small, personal, and clearly structured.
When is the North Star Men’s Conference?+
The in-person, men-only conference is September 25–26, 2026. Friday evening is 5:30–8:30 PM, including devotion and introductions, the opening message, closing words, and prayer, followed by the Saturday gathering.
What is the registration fee and attendance limit?+
Registration is $149 and the founding gathering is limited to 12 adult men. Registration closes September 18, 2026, or earlier if all places are filled.
Will men be required to disclose personal pain?+
No. Reflection and small-group participation are invitations, not demands. Each man may share only what he chooses. The conference provides education, ministry, and fellowship; it is not group psychotherapy.
What is the refund deadline?+
Eligible cancellation requests must be received on or before September 11, 2026; nonrefundable Stripe processing fees are deducted. After that date, registration is nonrefundable, though an approved transfer to another eligible adult man may be possible. The full published conference policy controls.
Can I sponsor another man?+
Yes. The conference page includes a secure Sponsor Another Man option. A sponsorship becomes nonrefundable after assignment to a participant; before assignment, it may be transferred to another eligible adult man.
Are promotional materials available for churches and men’s ministries?+
Yes. The Conference Promotion Kit includes ready-to-use spoken, bulletin, email, text-message, and social-media wording. A printable one-page flyer, invitation image, and conference QR code are also available.
What happens after a participant pays?+
The participant should keep the Stripe receipt, complete the separate participant-information form, and watch the supplied email address for the confirmed location and final instructions. A printable Registered Participant Preparation Guide explains the process.
