The Invitation

This is not a conference about pretending to be strong.

It is a gathering for men willing to examine what strength has cost them, what pressure has taught them, what limits they have ignored, and what God may now be calling them to rebuild.

Dr. Snow will share parts of his own massive nervous breakdown, the warnings he heard but did not follow, the long road of recovery, and the powerful hope he found through practical change and the grace and power of God.

Men will leave with hope and faith—not shame for having limits.
FRIDAY01

Opening Evening

When Strong Men Reach Their Limit

Alexander the Great’s exhausted army, his relentless drive, illness, and early death become an opening lens—not a complete explanation of history, but a warning about human limitation. Dr. Snow then turns toward his own story of breakdown, ignored wisdom, prolonged recovery, and healing.

“There Is Only One GOD: And I Am Not Him!”
“All of these vitamins in this store will do you little or no good, if you never get away from the pressure that caused your illness!”

The Costly Pattern

I heard it. I understood it. I did nothing about it.

Both warnings reached Dr. Snow’s ears—but neither warning immediately changed his direction. Ignoring healthy boundaries and human limits made recovery longer and harder.

PROVERBS 13:15 • KJV“Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of transgressors is hard.”
JAMES 1:23–24 • KJV“For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.”

Friday night asks every man a difficult but hopeful question: What wisdom have I already heard—but still have not obeyed?

The evening concludes with each man receiving a large-print page titled “My Personal Journey,” inviting private reflection before Saturday’s sessions.

NORTH STAR MEN’S CONFERENCE

My Personal Journey

My birthplace:

Where I grew up:

What shaped me:

What I am rebuilding:

Friday Evening Reflection

Your story belongs to you.

At the conclusion of Friday night, each man will receive a spacious, large-print page titled “My Personal Journey.” He will be encouraged to write about his life from birth until now—without pressure to produce a polished story.

01

Where did your journey begin?

Record your birthplace and the place or places where you grew up.

02

What has shaped the man you became?

Name experiences, people, losses, triumphs, warnings, decisions, or turning points that matter to you.

03

What brick comes next?

Write whatever you presently recognize about healing, limits, faith, health, responsibility, or rebuilding.

He may write only what he chooses. He may keep the page private. He will never be required to read it aloud.

The purpose is not forced disclosure. The purpose is honest reflection.

Friday Evening & Saturday Gathering

Four sessions. One rebuilding journey.

Session numbering begins with Friday night. Saturday uses two focused 75-minute morning sessions, a genuine movement break, a full lunch hour, and a purposeful 60-minute final session—followed by closing prayer and fellowship.

01

Session One — When Strong Men Reach Their Limit

5:30–6:00 PM: devotion and introduction of the men. 6:00–8:00 PM: the main teaching, including two 10-minute refreshment and movement breaks. Alexander the Great’s exhausted army opens the message before Dr. Snow shares his own story of ignored warnings, breakdown, recovery, practical wisdom, and the powerful hope and healing he found through God. 8:00–8:30 PM: closing words and ending prayer.

02

Breakfast

A relaxed beginning with food, fellowship, and time to settle into the room.

03

Devotion, Prayer & Recognizing the Men

One man offers a short, timely Scripture and very brief prayer, then immediately turns the gathering to Dr. Snow for the welcome, conference direction, and recognition of the men.

04

Session Two — Re-Creation

A focused 75-minute exploration of longevity research, Blue Zones, biblical lifespans, and the renewed opportunity to care for the life and body God has given each man.

05

Movement & Refreshment Break

Fifteen minutes to stand, move, breathe, refresh, and prepare for the next teaching.

06

Session Three — After Salvation, Take Care of Your Body First!

Genesis 2:7 anchors a focused 75-minute session on starting small, seeking appropriate medical guidance, movement, strength, healthy legs, hydration, nourishment, rest, and bodily stewardship.

07

Light Lunch & Fellowship

A full hour for food, unhurried conversation, fellowship, movement, and mental rest before the final session.

08

Session Four — Final Session

A focused 60-minute conclusion that completes the conference journey with hope, faith, practical rebuilding, and the next honest brick each man chooses to carry forward.

09

Closing Remarks, Prayer & Fellowship

Final declaration, closing prayer, personal greetings, and optional fellowship time.

Session Three Spotlight • The Body

The Blind Spot!

Every normally developed human eye has a natural blind spot. Yet the brain quietly fills in what is missing, leaving us with the feeling that we see the whole picture.

That physical reality becomes a powerful question for men: What if the body has become the part of your life you look at—but no longer truly see? Pressure, exhaustion, ignored warnings, unhealthy habits, and lack of rest can remain hidden in plain sight until the body demands our attention.

GENESIS 2:7

The body was formed first.

God formed man from the dust of the ground, breathed into him the breath of life, and man became a living soul.

1 CORINTHIANS 6:19–20

The body is a place of stewardship.

After receiving the Holy Spirit, a man is still responsible for caring for the body in which the Spirit dwells.

1 CORINTHIANS 15:46

The natural comes before the spiritual.

Whole-person development does not require neglecting the natural body in order to honor the spiritual life.

“We cannot claim to honor the Occupant while continually neglecting the house.”

Taking care of the body is not vanity. It is stewardship.
