The Truth Must Be Large Enough for Everyone
Abuse is abuse. Safety belongs to every person.
Recognizing male victims does not diminish the suffering of women. Calling people who cause harm to accountability does not require abandoning compassion. This work refuses competition between victims and makes room for truth, responsibility, protection, and change.

He does not speak from theory alone.
In his first marriage, Dr. Snow endured domestic violence for nearly twelve years. As a minister, husband, and father, he carried fear, shame, confusion, and the belief that a man should simply endure. He later experienced a massive nervous breakdown and a long, demanding road toward recovery.
His story is never offered as spectacle. Details remain measured and non-graphic. The purpose is to help audiences recognize hidden suffering, respond more wisely, understand the cost of silence, and believe that a life can be rebuilt.

This adaptable program helps audiences understand trauma, domestic violence, PTSD, depression, anxiety, safety, boundaries, intervention, recovery, and the often-overlooked experience of male victims.
It may be presented in a clearly faith-centered form or adapted for secular and professional settings without requiring faith as an entrance point.

Care in the Room
Trauma-informed does not mean truth-avoiding.
The room can be compassionate without becoming careless, honest without becoming graphic, and hopeful without making promises no speaker can guarantee.
Choice
Participants may listen privately, pass on discussion, pause, breathe, or step out. Personal disclosure is never required.
Safety
Examples remain measured and non-graphic. Present danger, protective boundaries, and qualified support are treated seriously.
Accountability
Trauma may help explain a person’s responses, but it never excuses violence, threats, coercion, control, or abuse.
Referral Awareness
Education can help people recognize a need. Individual treatment, safety planning, legal guidance, and crisis care belong with appropriate qualified services.
